At Unitron, “we care deeply” is one of our core values. Yes, we care deeply about hearing; this is the main focus of our business. But we also care deeply about — and want to make a difference in — the communities where we live and work. This is why we believe so strongly in giving back through a number of philanthropic initiatives.
Unitron is donating behind-the-ear hearing aids and earmolds to the Lions Infant Hearing Aid Loaner Bank, a program that benefits infants and young children with newly diagnosed hearing losses. We’re also working to secure free earmold services for these children and their families.
Unitron is proud to sponsor Can Do Canines, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance dogs, free of charge, to individuals with various physical needs, including those who are deaf or who have a severe to profound hearing impairment.
A college education can be a positive force for good — and this certainly applies to hearing-impaired individuals. For the upcoming school year, Unitron wants to make a difference by awarding a $1,500 scholarship to a person who wears Unitron hearing aids.
